MSC. AS
intends to produce competent, responsible and innovative
strategic agricultural statistical professionals and managers who will work at
senior levels as agricultural statisticians, managers, and administrators of
Agricultural Statistical Systems, sub-systems, schemes and programmes designed
to respond to the statistical demands of African nations in the sub-region of
SADC and other nations as well.
Duration
and credits: 24
months, coursework with 193 credits out of 120 minimum credits and 60 credits
for dissertation.
NB: Maximum registration period for
master’s programmes as per section 4.2.11 in table 2 of the EASTC Examinations
Regulations of 2021 is four years. Failure to complete studies within four
years will lead to discontinuation from studies.
