The library is the heart of the EASTC and it is an  integral part of the Centre's mission which revolves around  teaching,studying, research, and consultancy. Promote the production and use of high quality statistical data needed for evidence based decision making by training the producers and users of statistical data/information.

The library maintains varieties of collections: Economics, Mathematics, Statistics and Journal of the Royal Statistics society, statistical Report (Annual Survey of Industrial Production) Demographic and Health Survey of different countries in Africa.

The library also provides information services to library users within the EASTC community and others; these services include lending of library materials, documents delivery services, selective dissemination of information and current awareness services.
